Sharon Duncan works closely with her team of specialists to serve your financial needs. We dedicate the time to learn your personal circumstances, and we work with you to plan your financial future. Because we work as a team, you will interact with various team members throughout your experience. You will have six financial advisors who can serve your account, as well as new account and transfer specialists, case managers, and a client services manager.
Sharon Duncan, CFP®, AIF®, MBA, has both an analytical mind and a deep desire to help people. Sharon’s passion for her work and her commitment to integrity and customer service are the engines fueling Selah’s growth. Currently, Sharon is passionately working to change the conversation about retirement across the country.
Misty Garza, CFP®, MBA, has more than 13 years of experience in financial planning. At Selah, she provides and implements financial analysis, planning and investment strategies for Selah’s clients, taking appointments primarily at the Sugar Land location.
Derrick is an internal service advisor and primarily assists with client relations, complex service requests, trading, and annuity analyses and research. Derrick formerly worked for Van Kampen Investments, as well as AIG Valic where he refined his financial analysis skills.
Client Services Manager
Joni joined Selah in January 2008 and has 17 years of experience in financial services. She assists with client financial transactions and service requests, and is also responsible for the administrative logistics and day-to-day office operations. Joni ensures that service practices at Selah are well established and followed by team members.
Client Services Associate
Sandra brings more than 20 years of experience in customer service to the Selah team. As the first face clients see when entering Selah, Sandra helps guarantee that everyone receives the highest level of hospitality, as well as performing a wide variety of general office functions.
John Westerman, CFP®, uses his past experience as an engineer to help clients overcome obstacles blocking them from the financial future they desire. Despite his background in engineering, he believes it’s not all about the math; it’s about behaviors as well.
Mary Pat Gunn
Prior to joining Selah, the majority of Mary Pat’s nearly 20 years of experience has revolved around customer service. As a service-oriented person who has the desire to provide integrity in the financial world, Mary Pat feels being a financial advisor is the perfect opportunity to serve people with character and knowledge.
Tommy performs ongoing research, paying close attention to any changes within our investment lineup. In addition to financial planning, Social Security benefit analyses and retirement planning, Tommy works diligently to provide the utmost in customer service.
Client Services Specialist
Ginger utilizes her strong attention to detail to schedule client appointments and to keep Selah Financial’s calendar organized and flowing smoothly. Working behind the scenes, Ginger also assists in financial and retirement planning to make sure our clients are in the best possible position to achieve their financial goals.
Senior Case Manager
Misty comes to Selah Financial with 10 years of experience in the legal field as a legal assistant. She assists in the management of new accounts, working meticulously to assure a smooth process, while also providing top-notch timely service to our clients and attentive support to the advisors.
